Lost Cause Band

This five-piece ensemble isn’t confined by genre, sweeping through country, polkas, and rock. Some of its members also shine in Fayetteville’s cherished Central Texas Sounds (CTS).

Meet the talents: Joey Krchnak on guitar, Walter Krchnak on bass, Tim Kulhanek on keyboards, saxophone, and accordion, and Alicia adding trumpet, accordion, and vocals. Joey’s guitar journey started within the harmony of his father’s band, while Walter’s bass prowess evolved from dedicated listening. Spencer’s rhythmic magic and Walter’s solid foundation merge to anchor LCB. Their music resonates across various careers, from construction to banking.

Spencer, an inspector by day, developed his stagecraft in a country band during the ’70s, ultimately choosing the rhythm of drums over the disco beat. Anchored by friendships and musical kinship, he drummed his way through time, linking up with CTS and ultimately LCB. The memory of legendary drummer Thomas Strmiska remains, a testament to camaraderie in music.

Tim, tanned from labor with Kulhanek Construction Co., and Alicia, a VP at Industry State Bank, complete the lineup. Keep an ear out for their upcoming CD, a testament to their ever-evolving sound.
