Daughters of the Republic of Texas Annual Memorial Service
The Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT) – Gonzales Chapter will honor Benjamin Duncan, a courageous Scottish Texan who was appointed by Sam Houston with leading the families from Gonzales to safety during the Runaway Scrape. This event will take place at the 400 block of St. Matthew Street behind the Presbyterian Church.
