Bird Walk 101

Palmetto State Park

Join us on this guided hike to learn about the birds that call Palmetto SP home.

On this guided walk come out to learn about the bird species most commonly found in the park, and listen to their sweet songs.

Binoculars are not necessary, but encouraged, and if you do not have your own pair, we have some available for loan.

Time/Location: 9:00am meeting in front of the CCC Refectory Building

Bring: Binoculars if you have them, closed toed shoes, and water

Cost: This event is free with park admission, which is $3 per adult, those 12 and under are free. On weekends, reserve your day passes early online! 

Note:

• All ages welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult.
• If no participants arrive within 10 minutes of the start time, the program will be considered canceled.
