Solar Eclipse

Join us for a celestial celebration at our historic monuments on April 8th, 2024! Witness the magic of the solar eclipse and create monumental memories. The celestial journey will start at 12:15 P.M. with your eclipse glasses, solar viewers, or an indirect viewing method. The peak of this mesmerizing event occurs at 1:36 P.M., and it will end by 2:57 P.M. Take advantage of this extraordinary astronomical spectacle by strolling around and viewing the various monuments in Gonzales. The community’s monuments boast an ideal setting to experience and appreciate this captivating scientific phenomenon. Eclipse glasses will be available for pick up at the Gonzales Chamber of Commerce located at 304 St. Louis starting on March 21, 2024.
